What we lack is time. There are only 24 hours in a day, and when you take away the hours you spend working, the time you need to spend with your family, and time spent on other obligations, there isn’t much leftover each day. The problem is, to be a successful trader it takes a lot of time and a lot of effort. Don’t let anyone when fool you into thinking you can become a successful trader overnight. Not I, nor anyone else can make you a profitable trader overnight. Sure, you may have a good run but if you don’t go about this the right way, you will give back all of your gains and maybe more.
Trading is extremely difficult, and not because it takes a tremendous amount of intelligence, but because of the psychological effects of risking your money. Anyone who says trading is easy obviously has not spent enough time time trading find out how difficult it is, or they are being dishonest.
Remember that trading is a marathon and not a sprint. You will have good and bad days, good and bad weeks, and good and bad months, but if you have a strategy, are persistent, and focus on the process rather than the outcome you can be successful at this over time.
